It’s About Time
About
Reese Hawthorne desperately needs a break.
As a recently divorced, overworked and disillusioned mom of two, surviving primarily on cheese fries and binge-watching murder documentaries at 1am, Reese is full of resentment – towards her ex-husband, towards her soulless, mind-numbingly boring job – but especially towards her neighbor Gwen Kensington and her picture-perfect life. But Reese soon realizes that Gwen’s seemingly flawless life is not as effortless as it seems: Gwen’s a witch, and all her perfection is a lie.
With the begrudging help of Gwen’s grumpy, extremely attractive older brother, West, Reese embarks on a quest to claim the Kensington familial magic for her own, so that she too can become the “perfect” mom and put Gwen in her place. While Reese and West race against time while also juggling their growing attraction to one another -- and as both old and new secrets come to light -- Reese must decide if perhaps the best magic is the kind found within her own messy, imperfect life all along.
